UNMISSABLE: SAVAGE BEAUTY AT THE V&A

London is still celebrating the extraordinary creative talent of one of the most innovative designers of recent times, Alexander McQueen:

The Museum of Savage Beauty explores the hidden stories and craftsmanship behind some of the most remarkable objects made by Alexander McQueen and his creative collaborators. Here the designer’s iconic pieces are placed alongside historical objects from the V&A’s collections, which represent some of the many design traditions that inspired him.

The Alexander McQueen exhibit, which closed at 11pm on 2 August in London, welcomed a whopping 493,043 people through its doors during its 21-week run and for the final two weekends, the V&A opened the exhibition throughout the night for the first time in its history to accommodate unprecedented demand.
